Dan fitted a new loft hatch and ladder for us. It’s been a godsend and made the loft more accessible and a lot safer getting stuff in and out of the loft. Workmanship was top quality as always and competitively priced, which is why we use Brookes Carpentry on a regular basis.

So very pleased with our new decking - Dan built this on his own during very hot weather and diverse weather conditions - his attention to detail is phenomenal - I would not hesitate to recommend him for any small and very large jobs (our decking). Thank you again.

Dan was very professional right from the beginning, from the visit to quote for the work to the final sign off. Having been let down badly by another "carpenter" I was a bit nervous but Dan really put my mind at rest. It was a long wait for the work to be done, which was a good indication of how much in demand he is! I can't fault the work and his suggestion on the handles/locks/hinges was top notch - they look amazing. Highly recommended, and well worth the wait.

Dan did an excellent job for us in replacing our kitchen worktops, including upstands and hob splashback. Cutouts for a new sink and gas hob were also included. Dan provided a clear quote and great communication both before and during the job. Meticulously tidy and courteous throughout. Highly recommended and we will be using Dan again for a further job already planned and quoted.

Dan in prepping for the replacement of an existing external door and frame which had weathered badly, discovered that there was in fact no existing lintel in place. Fortunately for me Dan was able to put a new one in and also made a fantastic job of putting in the new frame and door. Dan is such a great person to do business with, a truly top professional who’s always looking out for the clients best interests. He’s polite, timely and very meticulous in what he does. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
